Autechre
Alcatraz, Milan
Concert
October 2026

Just over a month to go until Autechre return to Milan, and we’re happy to announce two special opening performances.
Bochum Welt, composer and producer Gianluigi Di Costanzo, first emerged through his work with Aphex Twin’s own label in the mid-90s, and has since spent three decades building one of the most distinctive voices in electronic music. Following him on stage is MDX, the live alias of Andy Maddocks, founder of the legendary Manchester label Skam Records and a key figure within the elusive Gescom collective.

Considered one of the most defining forces in contemporary electronic music, Autechre have continuously reshaped the language of sound through fractured rhythmic architectures, unpredictable compositional systems, and a relentless exploration of algorithm, error, and digital matter.

Una Boccata d’Arte

Curatorship
June 2026

Una Boccata d’Arte — the diffuse contemporary art project conceived by Fondazione Elpis — is at its seventh edition, bringing together 20 artists, 20 villages and 20 regions across the Italian peninsula. From June 20 to October 4, 2026, each intervention turns a small town into a site of listening, research and shared imagination. Threes Productions has collaborated with the project since its first edition, curating selected regionl chapters each year — and this year, three of them debut on opening weekend: Tuscany, Puglia and Veneto.

In Puglia, the Gargano village of Ischitella (FG) hosts In questo frangente, a new work by sound artist Enrico Malatesta, curated by VOGA Art Project — Flavia Tritto and Nicola Guastamacchia — together with Threes Productions. A brass plate, treated with fire and oxidation, becomes an acoustic, tactile and visual map.

In Tuscany, the small town of Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI) welcomes Swiss artist Lara Dâmaso, with a project curated by Gabriele Tosi together with Threes Productions. O fluxo que unisce não se atravessa takes the 2023 flood that destroyed one of the town’s bridges as its starting point, reflecting on bonds that don’t need to be crossed to exist.

In Veneto, Lugo di Vicenza (VI) welcomes Continua, a new project by composer and artist Renato Grieco, curated by Giovanni Giacomo Paolin and Sara Maggioni together with Threes Productions. Combining a musical performance with a sculpture-object activated as a stage prop, the work draws on three elements rooted in local memory.

April 2026

As part of Fondazione Elpis’s public program, Threes organized “Matter of Sound,” a workshop for children.
“Every sound designer knows: the sound of the wind is made with paper” is the workshop led by Oliviero Fiorenzi and Andrea La Pietra, designed to explore sound as gesture, material, and construction. Inspired by the practice of sound designers, the workshop aims to faithfully reproduce the sound of the wind, but to interpret and evoke it through simple materials.
Starting with basic actions, paper becomes both an instrument and a sound surface, giving shape to a collective composition built through listening, rhythm, and layering. An experience that invites participants to explore sound as a creative process, transforming an everyday material into an expressive tool.
The free workshop is scheduled for April 11, 2026, and is open to children ages 6 to 10. Registration: publicprogram@fondazioneelpis.org

Threes and Fondazione Prada present a live performance by American composer Kali Malone, who will perform an organ concert featuring compositions from her critically acclaimed albums ‘All Life Long’ and ‘The Sacrificial Code’ in the Church of Santa Maria Annunciata in Chiesa Rossa in Milan.

Keyboardist Kali Malone creates sprawling arrangements and undulating tones. On her 2019 record, The Sacrificial Code, Malone bucks the notion that big-room reverberation is necessary to give the pipe organ its signature texture, instead choosing to put a mic so close to a pipe organ that all the stately echo is lost in favour of something much more austere.

Vica Pacheco Basement III
Fondazione Elpis, Milano
Curatorship
November 2025
